Frequency Response

Frequency Response for the AMT System 1

The System 1 is a low profile condenser microphone that attaches to the bell of any flanged bell instrument such as woodwind and brass, with a LOW MASS clip. It can also clamp to many other instruments using the AMT "Universal Clamp". The microphone provides pure tonal reproduction while being unobtrusive. The System 1 microphone element is designed to be used with 40 or more instruments. It's response is designed to complement everything from brass and woodwinds to percussion. See the list below of all possible instruments to use it on.

With the included clip portion of the "Universal Clamp", the System 1 can be used on soprano, alto, tenor and bari sax, as well as trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, flugelhorn and tuba. The clip portion of the "Universal Clamp" is used for flanged bell instruments such as brass and woodwinds. It is a spring loaded design with a set screw that can reinforce stability on the horn if the player needs. The microphone attaches to the bell of instrument, and is suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing valve, key, click, and handling noise.

The AMT System 1 features a flexiable gooseneck, allowing the player to position the microphone for the best possible tone reproduction. It's rugged construction of anodized aviation aluminum makes it highly durable, while being lightweight and non-corrosive.

The System 1 is terminated by a 3.5mm plug which connects to a special metal belt pack preamp. The included belt pack has an XLR output. It is power by either 1 AA battery or phantom power. The belt pack powers the microphone system appropriatly and needs to be used.
